Louis Danziger’s work as both a designer and a design educator has shaped the course of contemporary graphic design. In 1949, Mr. Danziger established his practice in Los Angeles as a designer, art director, and consultant. His client list came to include Atlantic Richfield Co. (arco), Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Dreyfus Agency. Currently, he consults for Microsoft Corporation and teaches at the Art Center College of Design.
Over the years, Louis Danziger has shifted his primary activities from practice to design education, helping both to stimulate interest in graphic design and to develop the field’s best and brightest talents. For the National Endowment of the Arts, he consulted to the Federal Design Improvement Program and served as a panelist for the Design Arts Award Program.
