Henry Wolf became the art director of Esquire in 1952 and subsequently moved to Harper’s Bazaar and then to Show. In 1965, Mr. Wolf shifted his talents to advertising, working first with McCann Erickson and later with Trahey/Wolf. In 1971, he founded his own company.
Specializing in photography, film, and design, Henry Wolf Productions remains one of New York’s most enduring and creative firms. Henry Wolf’s monumental body of work includes more than 500 television commercials, nine films, promotional work for Champion Paper and Westvaco, editorial photography for Esquire and Domus, and nearly innumerable catalogs and advertisements.
