Over the course of his forty-0ne year career at cbs, Lou Dorfsman created business communications and model entertainment advertising that have had a lasting impact on the field. As senior vice president and creative director of advertising and design at cbs, Mr. Dorfsman supervised the crafting of the network’s identity, a timeless study in image communications.

He began his career designing exhibits for the 1939 New York World’s Fair. Since his retirement from cbs, Mr. Dorfsman has been the creative director at the Museum of Television and Radio, New York, and also has run his own design studio. His work has been exhibited worldwide, most notably in a twenty-five year retrospective exhibition of his work held at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
