About this course:
Prepare for the popular PMP® examination with a concentrated and structured review of the key project domains and required knowledge to pass the exam. This exam is administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, considered to be the leading professional association for project managers. The computer-based examination is designed to objectively assess and measure your project management knowledge on the 5-step framework of creating a high-performing team, starting the project, doing the work, keeping the team on track, and keeping the business in mind while considering predictive and agile/adaptive approaches for value delivery systems. Taught by instructors who are subject matter experts in both waterfall and agile practices, this course will prepare candidates for the new PMP® exam with 42% of the questions on the People domain, 50% on Processes, and 8% on Business Environment, with an overarching 50% of the whole heavily reliant on agile and hybrid approaches in managing projects. Individuals who pass the examination earn the profession's most universally recognized and respected credential, the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification. To be eligible for the PMP® certification, you must first meet specific requirements of experience and education and agree to adhere to a code of professional conduct. The final step in becoming a PMP® is passing the examination. This course will help you prepare for this rigorous test with the new exam content outline by PMI.
