About this course:

MSE 250B. Advanced Composite Materials. (Prof. Yang, J-M.) Lecture, four hours; outside study, eight hours. Preparation: BS in Materials Science and Engineering. Requisite: course 151. Fabrication methods, structure and properties of advanced composite materials. Fibers; resin-, metal-, and ceramic-matrix composites. Physical, mechanical, and nondestructive characterization techniques. Letter grading.
