About this course:

User experience plays a pivotal role in the emerging technologies of AR, VR and MR (collectively called XR). This class explores pertinent UX design and research practices as applied to virtual and augments realities. Topics include empathy in user research, XR content and capture techniques, prototyping in XR, and validation and preparation. Students will begin with the fundamentals of UX as they apply to 360 video experiences and advance all the way to prototyping in 3D virtual and augmented environments. Class includes hands-on experience with VR/AR/MR devices and technologies. No previous experience in UX or VR, AR, MR necessary.
