The UCLA Extension Cybersecurity Boot Camp is a challenging, part-time program that prepares students with the skills, understanding, and tools they will need to initiate and advance their careers in the cybersecurity industry.

The UCLA Extension Cybersecurity Boot Camp is a challenging, part-time program that prepares students with the skills, understanding, and tools they will need to initiate and advance their careers in the cybersecurity industry. The program utilizes a multidisciplinary curriculum that heavily emphasizes a lab-first approach supplemented by theory and certification preparation. Students in the program will be exposed to a wide range of topics across computing; networking; programming, systems, network, and browser security; penetration testing; policy management; and more. The program will leverage a curriculum that safely exposes students to the modern toolsets of cybersecurity professionals – including technologies like Wireshark, Packet Tracer, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and more. Students in the program will further receive targeted training on the highly in-demand certifications CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and CISSP.Contact Us
