Registration
There are several steps in order to successfully register for the U.S. Constitution exam. Part A involves selecting a date from the available list below. Part B involves scheduling an exam sitting with a proctor through ProctorU for a specific time on the chosen exam date. The instructions below outline this process. If you are unsure of the steps or have questions, please contact us at credentials@uclaextension.edu
Part A:
Select the date of your choice and click 'Enroll Now'. Follow the registration prompts.
Once you are registered, you will receive two automated emails: 1) Enrollment confirmation email from UCLA Extension and 2) Canvas email with instructions on setting up your UCLA Extension Canvas account. Please note, U.S. Constitution exam test takers are granted access to Canvas seven days before the exam date, even though the enrollment confirmation email will say two days.
Please follow the instructions to set up your Canvas account.
Part B:
Seven days prior to your selected U.S. Constitution exam date, log into Canvas and review the instructions listed under the 'Announcements' and 'Modules' tabs.
By following the instructions, you will be able to schedule an exam sitting for a specific time on your chosen exam date with a proctor from ProctorU.
You will NOT be able to take the exam without scheduling an exam sitting with ProctorU. You must have a specific time at which you are taking the exam. For example, if you register for the exam taking place on Monday, June 5, 2023, you must schedule a sitting with a proctor any time on Monday, June 5, 2023.
If you do not follow the steps listed in Part B of the registration process, you will NOT be able to access the exam.
