This course provides an in-depth overview of the advanced materials enabling modern and emerging technologies. New materials are powerful engines of innovation, constantly being discovered and applied to novel products and solutions. With special emphasis on nanotechnology and its practical applications, you will explore the fundamental principles underlying the next generation of human brain to computer interfaces, personalized healthcare, air and water purification, flexible electronics, green energy generation and storage, and much more.
Suggested Prerequisites

It is advisable that you complete the following (or equivalent) since they are prerequisites for Nanotechnology I: Materials in Emerging Technologies.

Understanding of basic chemistry, biology, and algebra.
