About this course:Nanotechnology II offers an in-depth study of the super tiny materials that enable the cutting-edge science of nanotechnology. These nanomaterials are the key to the numerous practical applications of nanotechnology. For example, nanomaterials can alter the surface properties of bulk materials in completely novel ways, including affecting how they interact with light and matter, making them antibacterial or water-resistant, and much more. This course teaches the design, fabrication, and applications of common nanomaterials and nanostructures. This is the second of two (2) core courses and three (3) total courses required for the Nanotechnology Specialization Certificate and is a prerequisite to Nanotechnology III-IV.
It is advisable that you complete the following (or equivalent) since they are prerequisites for Nanotechnology II: Materials in Nanotechnology.
