CEE 255A. Physical and Chemical Processes for Water and Wastewater Treatment. (Instructor: Jassby, D.) Lecture, four hours; discussion, two hours; outside study, six hours. Requisites: courses 155, 254A. Review of momentum and mass transfer, chemical reaction engineering, coagulation and flocculation, granular filtrations, sedimentation, carbon adsorption, gas transfer, disinfection, oxidation, and membrane processes.
