The intended purpose of this course is to provide a basic understanding of Manufacturing Engineering and its relationship to the objectives and business models of a manufacturing company, through case studies of top competitive aerospace companies. The course will cover policies, procedures, corporate governance, technology applications and business systems that a manufacturing engineer needs to understand. The methods of teaching will be lecture, review and study of real world production issues, discussion and white papers. *This course is specifically designed for Northrop Grumman employees and is not open to the public.
