About this course:

This course covers the elements of cost management as they relate to government contracting. The focus of the curriculum is to prepare the participants in various functional areas on the logic for identifying cost in its various categories as found in the defense and aerospace industry. Interrelationships of these different elements will be examined in a framework that integrates design, development, and manufacturing. The framework for this module is based on a simplified business operation that is deconstructed into categories of cost and cost basis leading to the understanding of cost in more complex technical enterprises. The areas explored will be direct, indirect, capital and other cost areas.
