About this course:
This unique 2-day course combines the Leading Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Six Thinking Hats training. It includes training and exercises to help understand the material and the application of the material. Course attendees will become certified in Six Thinking Hats. The class also prepares you to take the exam and become a certified SAFe® Agilist (SA). In this course you will learn how to execute and release value through Agile Release Trains, build an Agile Portfolio, conduct agile planning meetings using the Six Thinking Hats™, lead a Lean-Agile transformation on an enterprise scale, transfer traditional systems engineering tasks on Large-Scale Agile Programs, gain the Lean-Agile mindset, apply the principles and practices of SAFe and the Six Thinking Hats to support Agile teams, programs, program portfolio management, and to coordinate large Value Streams.
The Six Thinking Hats, developed by Dr. Edward deBono, have over 30 years of proven success. This systematic and logical method facilitates parallel thinking so that a team or organization utilizes the full creative potential and logical thinking of each member. Results include shorter, more energized meetings, definition of the right focus, creative input to facilitate innovation, and more engaged employees who are supportive of final decisions. Exercises during the training will be combined with the Six Thinking Hats and Lateral Thinking to help participants learn how to find the highest value capabilities to work on first. These techniques are especially effective when the products in development are complex and change occurs as development continues.
