About this course:

This course is divided into two sections that cover ME Tooling procedures and 3D printing applications in a production environment. Students will learn to perform day to day ME tooling related processes including writing tool orders, and requests for tool repairs. The 3D printing portion of this course will review the various Additive Manufacturing technologies, design for 3D printing, troubleshooting print issues, and will give students hands on experience operating 3D printers and associated software. The course project will have students team up to create a 3D print with practical uses and present their findings at the end of the class.
