About this course:

This course covers the major areas of managing high-technology contracts: licensing strategies, policing and enforcing licenses, forming and managing a joint venture, entering into and maintaining strategic alliances, and transferring technology. Emphasis is on the role of the contract manager in the areas of technology contracts in domestic and international transactions. Also included is a global market focus dealing with affiliated companies and divisions in other countries. Background data is provided for each major topic. Familiarization with the legal terms of technology contracts is emphasized, and the course covers both parties in the transactions.
