About this course:EC ENGR XLC 231E. Channel Coding Theory (Instructor: Prof. Wesel, R.) Lecture, four hours; outside study, eight hours. Requisite: course 131A. Fundamentals of error control codes and decoding algorithms. Topics include block codes, convolutional codes, trellis codes, and turbo codes. Letter grading.
