In their role as liaison, patient advocates often communicate with the health care team about patient satisfaction, emergent complaints, access to care, insurance issues, and other matters of importance to patients and families. This course teaches the critical skillsets necessary to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing when advocating in the health care setting.
