About this course:

This course explores the nation's health challenges, the epidemiologic basis of population health, the organization and financing of health services in the United States, and current strategies for promoting health and preventing disease in communities. The course introduces students to a range of topics, issues, and frameworks to help understand current public health issues and modern public health systems, policies, and practices. Transferable for UC credit.
