What you can learn.

  • Comprehend, analyze, and synthesize a variety of texts and genres
  • Draft, revise, and edit focused, organized, and appropriately developed documents for specified purposes and audiences
  • Peer review writing of other students in the class, demonstrating acceptable analysis of an essay's content and a correct understanding of acceptable English prose

About this course:

Suggested Prerequisites

It is advisable that you complete the following (or equivalent) since they are prerequisites for Approaches to University Writing.

Course A with grade C or better or appropriate score on Analytical Writing Placement Examination
