Roger Torneden
Roger Torneden earned his Ph.D. in International Business from New York University with his dissertation resulting in a book published by Praeger Publishers. He earned his CFP(R) while consulting with a large private U.S. bank. Dr. Torneden's international career includes SVP of Worldwide Marketing for AIU and Director of International Development for JCPenney as well as CEO of a large privately owned financial services company. He has taught part-time for more than 5 years with UCLA Extension as well as part-time with MBA/PhD programs as Adjunct Professor with Webster University and Adjunct Assistant Professor with Baruch College in New York City. In 2009, Dr. Torneden key-noted Chapman University's Annual Economic Symposium discussing today's similarities and differences with the Great Depression years. At present, Dr. Torneden is completing two books: one fiction and the other non-fiction but both take advantage of his 30 plus years of international experience including years of residency in Japan, Belgium, and Australia.
