Sharat Batra

Sharat Batra is a Mechanical Engineer for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, working in the Wholesale Energy Resource Manager Group.  He has been working in various capacities such as providing recommendations for hedging natural gas and leading complex training workshops on quantitative methods, option pricing and commodities, and engineering subjects.  In addition, he is a licensed Mechanical Engineer.  He is currently on the Board of the Young Professionals in Energy Association.  Sharat received his MBA from USC and his BSc from UCLA.
