About this course:

Green roofs consist of multiple components, including waterproofing, insulation, filtration, drainage, root barrier, planting medium, plant materials, and irrigation that need to be carefully designed, engineered, planned, installed, and maintained to maximize benefits and ensure longevity. Once green roofs have been successfully installed, implementing a maintenance program is critical during the establishment period and throughout the lifetime of the green roof. This course addresses all these topics with specific reference to the Southern California climate.
