The Master of Interior Architecture is a professional degree (M. INT. ARCH.) offered collaboratively by UCLA Extension and Cal Poly Pomona, College of the Extended University, and is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the Western Association of Schools (WASC).

Designed for the working professional, the Master of Interior Architecture's flexibility allows you to study part-time in a program that incorporates the highest standards of professional practice to fully prepare you to enter the field of interior design.

All classes are taught at UCLA Extension facilities in Westwood, Los Angeles.

When you take a course through UCLA Extension, you’ll meet one of our more than 2,500 instructors. These teachers work with us to develop cutting-edge curricula and are dedicated to providing you with quality instruction.

Many of our instructors have been with us for a number of years, and all are familiar with the challenges facing working adults who wish to advance their skills.

  • Instructors may also include UCLA faculty.

The role of the Guidance Committee is to advise the Master of Interior Architecture Program on the latest trends in the architecture and design professions as well as on strategies for promoting the program to national and international audiences.

Members are distinguished practitioners from the architecture and design fields who share a strong commitment to furthering the standards of design education. The Guidance Committee is not a fundraising entity and members are not solicited for any financial contribution. The committee meets yearly for thorough brainstorming session normally held in Los Angeles.
