Bridge for Absolute Beginners: Part 2
Osher (50+). Follow-up course to Bridge for Absolute Beginners: Part 1.
About this course:This course follows Bridge for Absolute Beginners: Part 1, which introduced students to playing a hand and bidding a hand. In Part 2, we pick up where we left off and continue to build on our knowledge base and develop our skills. We introduce dummy points, how to take a finesse, one no trump responses, and 2 over 1 bids. We also learn two very important and commonly used conventions: Stayman and Jacoby transfers. The last class is a fun and relaxed day of supervised play, practicing all we have learned and asking questions as we go. Please note: students enrolling in this course must have taken Bridge for Absolute Beginners: Part 1, or equivalent, or have instructor approval.
