About this course:
We do not need to lose mobility and muscle mass as we age. Unless we move it, we lose it. The focus of this course is walking. Your form and stride are analyzed and techniques will be given on how to move from a stroll to a beneficial workout. Besides a lecture, we take a walk each week, slowly increasing the distance. Walking briskly is something most of us can do, and with the proper technique will keep us in fantastic shape. Besides walking, instruction includes motivational techniques, proper clothing, exercise gadgets, nutrition ideas, and stretching.
