About this course:

In this course we explore the adventures of Odysseus, using a new rendition by Emily Wilson, the first translation by a woman. So much of how we perceive heroes, justice, marriage, parenting, hospitality, sexuality, and war have been derived from this marvelous story, not the least of which is James Joyce’s 20th century masterpiece Ulysses, and what we’ve kept or left behind is relevant to our lives today. This is one voyage you cannot afford to miss, so pack your bags. Enjoyment is guaranteed.
