About this course:

Take a voyage to the African savannah as we explore the secret lives of the world’s largest land mammal, the African elephant. Although most often recognized for their impressive size, in this lecture you learn that elephants are also among the most intelligent animals on the planet, exhibit fascinating behaviors, and live in highly complex societies. However, elephants are experiencing unprecedented declines throughout their range and we also explore the nature of this conservation crisis, the key causes of elephant declines, and potential solutions.
