A Critical Race Discussion
GENINT 711.381
Osher (50+). This course is an introduction to institutionalized racism.
About this course:
This course introduces the tenets of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and explains how critical theories—such as CRT, racial formation, and the use of racial projects— can help explain the role that institutions play in promoting and sustaining discriminatory racial structures. Participants are asked to engage in deep self-reflection from their own experiences, to unpack how systems and power-holders intentionally and unintentionally precipitate racial inequity.Corporate Education
