About this course:

The clothes you wear connect to a rich history of people communicating something through dress. Furthermore, we can use fashion as a lens to look at society in general. In this course, we examine clothing—such as the mini skirt, the pantsuit, or even waistline—to delve into issues as wide ranging as to art, politics, culture, history, economics, and gender.
