About this course:

The 2015 Paris Agreement is one of the most prominent international treaties on climate change and was adopted by nearly every nation. According to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC), the agreement set forth the goal of limiting global warming to below 2, preferably 1.5 degrees Celsius, compared to pre-industrial levels. This course examines the development of the Paris Agreement, from its history and founding through more recent developments, as well as challenges and promises for the United States and world.
