This course covers planetary motion; Newton's laws; gravitation, electricity, and magnetism; wave motion, light, sound, and heat; relativity; quantum mechanics; atoms; subatomic particles; and the development of physical ideas in their cultural and historical perspective. Transferable for UC credit.
It is advisable that you complete the following (or equivalent) since they are prerequisites for Physics.
Two years of high school mathematics, including algebra.
