Course DescriptionThis course introduces students to the mechanisms underlying the action of various classes of drugs and their receptor targets in the body. An overview of 100 of the most widely used drugs provides insight into their therapeutic effects, clinical indications, adverse reactions, and drug interactions.
PrerequisitesX 452.6 Foundations in Human Physiology or successful completion of an introductory college-level physiology course.
