Course DescriptionThis course is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the key activities systems engineers are responsible for when bringing a system into being, from the point when a need is identified through system preliminary design. Students create selected work products that result from a systems engineer's activities. A case study is provided by the instructor to be used by students to develop work products. These work products become a part of a systems engineering work products portfolio to demonstrate students' abilities to create work products to their managers or prospective employers.
Course OutlineThis course provides an in-depth coverage of the key activities systems engineers are responsible from initiating a systems need to preliminary design.
