Course DescriptionCandidates advance their content expertise by organizing and sequencing curriculum to demonstrate the relationships between concepts, themes, and skills. Candidates strategically develop big ideas that are at the core of the subject, develop student-friendly essential questions that highlight the big ideas central to the unit, determine performance-based assessments for a unit of study, and create a scope, sequence, and unit of study following the backwards design model.
