Preparing for the Exam
The exam requires you to comprehend specific knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, including the cause of the Constitutional Convention, issues of the Constitutional Convention, and Ratification of the Constitution.
Student Records
There is no transcript for this exam. Pass/Fail results are provided immediately via ProctorU and Canvas. However, official results from UCLA Extension will be emailed within one week of the exam date. If you do not pass the exam the first time, you may take the test again within six months from the test date for an additional $80 charge. However, if the test is failed the second time, the UCLA Extension Education Department recommends taking a course to satisfy this requirement. No further retakes will be permitted.
Candidates from Inyo County may elect to take the exam online or through your county in person.

In Person Exam
Candidates taking the exam in person at Inyo County Office of Education must contact their respective HR representative to schedule an exam. The exam fee is $80 and must be paid to UCLA Extension in advance. Please present your receipt to the exam proctor as confirmation of payment, otherwise you will not be permitted to take the exam.
