READ MORE ABOUT THIS COURSE

About this course:

Join the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program for a community building event for all writers of color featuring a conversation with a guest industry professional about their career and life in the arts and the cultural specific challenges and successes that they have faced as they moved through their careers. The discussion will include ideas for publishing opportunities for writers of color as well as where to find and discover new readership outside of your own culture and community. Breakout sessions will be held during the gathering, and all attendees will have the opportunity to share their concerns, experiences, and build community. Fall 2022 quarter guest will be DeLanna Studi. The discussion will be moderated by Sehba Sarwar and Wally Rudolph, both current instructors at UCLA Extension.
