Learn what you need to include in your sample, and how to write an effective artist statement and cover letter to obtain funding and institutional support for your creative work. You leave with a better understanding of how to speak about your artistic process and intentions in a clear and concise manner. Join Ploi Pirapokin, a fiction writer and essayist, who has served as a juror on residency, grant, and conference panels, in this interactive workshop, where she shares examples from successful applications, as well as tips and tricks to streamline your application process. You leave the workshop with revision guide for your sample, as well as a first draft of your artist statement and cover letter, ready to use for your own applications.
