About this course:This workshop will guide you through the process of crafting a narrative from tragic events in our lives. We will cover examples in memoir and essays that take the reader on a journey layered with the outcomes of tragedy, that include grief as well as gratitude and moving forward. Wherever you are in the grieving and writing process, this course will kick start students towards publishing their experiences to form a story around tragedy as well as inform others and find community amongst readers.

Enrollment limited to 15 students. Internet access required.
This course uses remote instruction. As such, instructors use Zoom to offer live class meetings at the designated class meeting time. Students must be present at course meeting times as each student’s final grade may include scores for participation.
Please inform your instructor if you will miss a class meeting. You are responsible for any class information you missed. We suggest you arrange with a fellow classmate to share their notes when feasible.
