About this course:

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to communications with a focus on personal branding, public relations, and marketing. Aspiring authors or literary agents learn about the work of a book publicist or marketing professional and the skills necessary to effectively communicate about a book or literary project to a wide audience. Students emerge from the weekend with the tools necessary to effectively communicate about and pitch their project or client in a multitude of ways. Required for the Certificate in Literary Representation.
