About this course:
Short films (any film over one minute and under forty minutes) is a great way to get noticed and showcase your talent and build a career as a filmmaker. In this class, students begin by exploring a wide range of short films to help understand the medium and what works and what doesn’t. Students learn how to come up with their own ideas, outline and structure techniques, and how to write action and dialogue. By the end of class, students have a first draft of a short film script that you can actually go out and shoot.
No meeting November 11 and 25, 2021. Enrollment limited to 15 students.
