This course emphasizes the fundamentals of individual retirement-related issues: Retirement Savings Needs Analysis and calculations, IRA's, qualified and tax favored retirement plan designs and features, Social Security, Medicare, MSA/HSA's, and also explores group benefits such as group life insurance, disability and health insurance, non-qualified deferred compensation plans and stock options. The in-depth curriculum, which includes the use of study guides from the College for Financial Planning, provides a client-centered, problem-solving methodology that includes case studies, homework assignments, application projects, and group study.
