About This Course

Artificial intelligence is only as powerful as the data behind it. Before building models or deploying AI applications, organizations must design the right data architecture and understand their data through exploration and visualization.

In this session, we’ll explore how modern data professionals prepare data for AI by combining strong data modeling practices with exploratory data analysis. Attendees will learn how structured data models, modern data stores, and visualization techniques help uncover insights and create reliable inputs for AI systems. We’ll also discuss emerging technologies such as vector databases and AI-assisted analytics.

This session provides a practical look at the skills used in real-world analytics and AI projects and offers a preview of topics covered in UCLA Extension’s Data Modeling and Datastore Design and Exploratory Data Analysis and Visualization courses.
