About this course:

What can counselors do to ensure that every student who finishes high school is successful in college and ready for a career? Based on UCLA Professor Dr. Pat McDonough’s research on the Nine Critical Principles of Creating a College-Going Culture, this session provides research-based and time-tested strategies that school counselors can implement to improve their school’s college-going and career readiness rates.  Counseling large caseloads, first-generation, and diverse populations will be emphasized.
