Introduction to the key issues associated with rocket design, including the space industry and its needs, current vehicles, mission requirements, orbits, launch sites, performance, ascent to orbit, rocket structures and layouts, navigation and control, riding on a rocket, how they’re built, tested, and launched, some accidents and lessons learned.
