About this course:

EC ENGR 112 Introduction to Power Systems (Instructors: Prof. Casteneda, J. and Prof. Ashrafi, F.) Lecture, four hours; discussion, one hour; outside study, seven hours. Enforced requisite: course 110. Complete overview of organization and operation of interconnected power systems. Development of appropriate models for interconnected power systems and learning how to perform power flow, economic dispatch, and short circuit analysis. Introduction to power system transient dynamics. Letter grading.
