The Entertainment Studies Certificate Student Orientation is a resource for all new certificate students. It will include a live orientation, recordings and other resources for you to access throughout the quarter.
How to choose courses and make a plan of study to complete your certificate when desired
Understand visa requirements for international students (both here in the US and those studying from their home country)
Examine the guidelines around internships, who should do one, and how they are found
Identify the types of networking opportunities available to certificate students
Explore additional benefits and resources available to certificate students
About this course:
The Entertainment Studies Certificate Student Orientation is a resource for all new certificate students in the fields of: Acting, Directing, Cinematography, Business and Management of Entertainment, Film and TV Development, Entertainment Studies, Independent Producing, Producing, Music Business, Independent Music Production, and Film Scoring. It includes a live orientation, recordings and other resources for you to access throughout the quarter.
There will be a live Certificate Student Orientation held via Zoom on Tuesday, January 4th, 2023, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM (PT). It will be recorded and available to you along with other resources throughout the quarter. Attendance at the live session is encouraged, but not required.
The recording of this orientation will be available to anyone who signs up for the Entertainment Studies Certificate Orientation course in the Spring 2023 quarter.
