About This Course
Develop a distinctive live identity and learn how to translate your recorded music into a compelling live experience. Explore how performance, instrumentation, technology, visuals, staging, environment, and audience interaction can work together to create an experience that gives audiences a reason to see you in person.
Learn how to develop and refine your live concept, produce your own shows and pop-up events, work with venues and promoters, build an audience, manage budgets and production, and create opportunities rather than waiting to be booked. Examine both traditional and unconventional approaches to live performance, with an emphasis on creating experiences that are authentic to your artistic identity and capable of growing with your career.
By the end of the course, develop a practical roadmap for building a live experience that is unique to you, repeatable, scalable, and ready to grow from intimate performances to headline shows and touring.
