Alex Azmi

Dr. Azmi’s experience extends over 25 years in the fields of technology, project management, and business. Currently, he is the manager of CITM, LLC in southern California and previously, he was the manager of the IT Project Management Office of MWDSC, overseeing projects totaling over $100 million. His prior experience includes senior positions in the Silicon Valley technology firm Metricom, Inc. and the Engineering Consulting firm DGA, Inc.

Dr. Azmi developed and taught the original Certificate Program in IT Management at UCLA Extension. He has a doctorate degree in Public Administration and Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering. He is certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California. Dr. Azmi was awarded the UCLA Extension Distinguished Instructor Award in 2013
