Alex Vinnitski has over 18 years of experience in film development, finance, production, worldwide distribution and foreign sales. Currently, Mr. Vinnitski works under the banner of the actress Anna Faris’ production company next2miles where he serves as Partner as well as Anna’s producing partner, focusing on development and production of starring vehicles for Anna Faris as well as other commercially viable films and television shows.

Most recently, Mr. Vinnitski produced Longing, an English language remake directed by Savi Gabizon and starring Richard Gere and Diane Kruger,

Previously, Alex served as VP of Production and Development at Co-Op Entertainment, a film and TV production company run by Laura Ivey and the director Tanya Wexler. He was involved in numerous productions, including Meg Ryan’s directorial debut Ithaca, starring Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks and Alex Neustaedter, as well as Replicas, starring Keanu Reeves.

Prior to Co-Op Entertainment, Alex worked at The Exchange, an international sales and finance company, where he served as executive in charge of Acquisitions. Hw was also involved in film financing and sales on films such as 2 Guns, The Spectacular Now, Young Ones, among many others.

Earlier in his career, Alex served as head of the film department at the product placement agency “Feature This”. Some of the projects he was involved with included Collateral directed by Michael Mann, Premonition starring Sandra Bullock, and Terminal directed by Steven Spielberg.

Alex was born in Moscow, Russia and raised in Israel. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking after the completion of his award-winning first film, Mother’s Dance. His first US produced project was The Violin, starring Ricky Ullman, Sarah Drew and Melora Hardin. In addition to producing, Alex is pursuing his lifelong dream of directing films. The Return, his short film starring Caroline Goodall, marked his directorial debut.
